Printable table cards
Four table cards per A4 sheet: cut along the lines and slip them into a menu holder or onto card.
It works, but a PDF is hard to read on a phone and every price change means uploading a new file. With Platevo the QR stays the same and you change the menu in a minute, with photos, allergens and translations.
How to print it so it scans well
- At least 3 cm wide on a table card, 2 cm if it sits close to the guest. The farther away, the bigger it must be.
- Dark on a light background: black always works, pastel colours don't.
- Leave a white border around the code and don't cover it with logos or text.
- Before printing a hundred copies, test it with two or three different phones.
Frequently asked questions
Does the QR code expire?
No. The code holds your address directly and works as long as that address is online. It doesn't go through our servers and doesn't depend on a subscription.
Can I change the link after printing?
No, the link is written into the code. If you want to change the menu without reprinting, point the QR to an address that never changes, like your Platevo menu: you change the menu, not the QR.
PNG or SVG?
PNG is fine for printing at home, Canva or WhatsApp. SVG is the format for print shops: it stays sharp even on a poster.
What does Platevo do with the link I enter?
Nothing: it's only used to draw the code. We don't add it to any list and we won't contact you.
