Frequently asked questions
Is an allergen chart mandatory?
You must give guests, in writing and dish by dish, the allergens present. A chart is one of the accepted ways: writing them on the menu or on a board works too. If you use a digital menu, the printed chart is the extra written copy you need.
Where should I keep it?
Somewhere guests and inspectors can find it easily, such as the counter or the till. If your menu tells guests to ask the staff, the staff must be able to show it straight away.
Does Platevo store the data I enter?
No. The chart is built in your browser and the draft is saved only there, so you can pick it up again when a recipe changes.
